Lyon County

Don Wamser - 2910 Crestview Dr.

The home was built in 2001. It was one of the first homes in the development. The lawn was originally seeded with a tall fescue blend. Some overseeding has been done over the years to help thicken the stand of grass.

The front yard contains oak and ash trees. Shrubs around the front-side of the house include boxwood, barberry, blue star juniper, and weigela. Along the north-side of the house are globe blue spruce, holly, Norway spruce and hydrangea.

Once in the back yard, one will finda oak, maple, and hydrangea trees. The planting around the flagpole was put in two years ago. The fountain has been enjoyed very much. Hummingbirds and other birds visit the fountain frequently. A wind-blown maiden bronze sculpture accents a flower bed. Candy corn spirea provides a border around the patio with varying colors throughout the year.

The bed on the back of the house has hydrangea, shrubs, and perennials. The other two flower beds are a mixture of shrubs and perennials. The back faces a small lake which creates interest to the setting and provides beautiful sunrise reflections.
